Building on the success of its inaugural year, CACO's internship program continues to provide high school musicians from across Central Alberta an opportunity to perform alongside seasoned professionals. The number of interns accepted has more than doubled!These students, selected through an audition process, receive personalized coaching and mentorship from members of CACO.

 

This season's cohort includes Tylan Bushell, a Grade 10 tuba player from Notre Dame High School in Red Deer and resident of Innisfail. Not only will Bushell perform with the orchestra, but he will also see his original composition, “Beyond Dissonance”, premiered at these concerts.
